january 2001 turweston airfield i attended my very first drift event ,i watched these guys skidding old japanese cars round the airfield and i was hooked! from here the idea of doristars was born. the idea was for a permanent photographic record of drift events with in the uk where drivers could see high quality images of themselves in action and to hopefully bring drifting to a wider audience , now in 2007 doristars.com has the largest library of drift images on the net, with a count of over 9,000 in the gallery from the very beginning right up to the present day, so if you have driven at an event in the last 6 years there is a very good chance that there will be a photograph of you in there, what does 2008 hold? well drift is evolving so doristars will have to evolve with it ideas are being formed so watch this space! about doristars.com doristars explanation of a name. dori :-a shortened version of dorifuto... japanese for drifting. stars:- persons who are highly celebrated in a field or profession.
